Is the Kindle not manly enough? Perhaps I would be better suited to place social acceptance at a higher level by adorning myself with a bunch of lower case i's instead?
I don't have one, really. I saw a bit on Ace of Spades that mentioned the figure, but I can't find the reference now. But it made sense to me; girls tend to read more than guys, and lugging around a somewhat delicate device like an e-reader is easier if you're already carrying a purse.

I'd shout "You Da Man!" except somehow that doesn't seem quite appropriate for a topic that includes the Kindle.
"Uh-oh" is right...
Ten days and counting.

Oh, I don't really think it's a genderfied device. But something like 8 of 10 are sold to girls. I'm sure no one would think you unmanly to own one.
Hadn't heard that stat. Interesting. Buck and I are aiming to get those numbers straight. And oh by the way. I love the thing.
Well, Moogie's husband monopolizes the family Kindle, so there's yet another. Got a source for that stat, Gordon? ;-)
Indeed. And I have it from an insider that Amazon doesn't track that information, anyway. So, Gordo, that source?

Ace of Spades. Ha! They can't read over there.
You're redoubtably right. It's probably the Valu-Rite vodka.
